HELLO! oh my gosh, first blog post on my neocities! im so excited, this is a years-long dream of mine! so, for this first blog entry, i want to give a brief history of my experiences with coding and stuff :3

in late 2022, i found rentry. it's this little site that you can use markdown on to make a personal site. to 16 year old me, markdown was the most CONFUSING SHIT EVER. i was extremely chronically offline during this time and had no prior experience with almost anything lol. a month or two later, my amazing irl friend krys introduced me to spacehey! obviously, i didnt know how to code, so i used a premade layout. adding blinkes and other various things to my page was so confusing to me, but i was a quick learner. after that, i'd use spacehey on-and-off for a long time, until probably september 2024. it was then when i finally decided it was time to code my own layout! it came out super cute iirc, and i felt so proud of myself! after that, id continue to keep fixing up my spacehey profile every once in a while

i created my neocities account on january 22, 2025 — over a year ago! and god, i had no idea what i was doing. it took me forever to understand basic css. but now? i am by far NOT experienced, but i can definitely work my way around this website now! i've learned so many new things from my friends who also love coding and from my neighbors on neocities! i'm so excited to continue my coding journey <3
